Snapway AI pricing and credits
Snapway uses credits across image, video, audio, editing tools, and design-agent interactions. A free plan is available, and paid plans add more monthly credits, premium model access, and commercial use.

How credits work
Every paid subscription receives a separate 100-credit daily allowance. It is used first, refreshes every 24 hours, and never rolls over. After that, usage draws from the plan's monthly credits, then from separately purchased credit packs, which do not expire. Free accounts do not receive the paid daily allowance. Images and editing tools are generally charged per generation or use; video and audio costs depend on the selected model and output length.

What are credits and how are they charged?
Credits are Snapway AI's usage unit. Image costs vary by model, resolution, and quality; video and audio costs can also vary by duration and audio options; AI conversations are billed from actual text-token usage. See the model usage table on this page for current estimates. For example, Nano Banana Pro currently costs 15 credits/image at 1K, 15 at 2K, and 15 at 4K. If a backup image provider is used, the customer price stays the same (15 credits at 4K). GPT Image 2 and 2.5 are 0 credits/image and unlimited on every paid plan. Free accounts receive 20 GPT images per rolling 24 hours; each later image in that window costs 5 credits. Image-count estimates exclude other paid workflow steps.
How are Gemini, GPT and AI assistant credits calculated?
Gemini and GPT models, including Sol, are charged per successful model call from reported input, cached input and output tokens. Input includes instructions, conversation history and tool results, not just your latest message. The table shows a credit example with 10,000 uncached input tokens plus 1,000 output tokens; this example is not a fixed per-message price. Supplier token usage is converted into whole credits and rounded up, with a minimum of 1 credit per call. An Agent task can contain several separately charged calls, plus image, video or other paid steps. “AI assistant” is a usage category, not a model name. Supplier rates are used only to calculate credits and are not an additional card charge. Reducing repeated context and the number of calls reduces usage.
What is included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes 250 credits each month and access to every GPT Image 2 and 2.5 model. The first 20 GPT images in each rolling 24-hour window are free; each later image costs 5 credits. Free users can also access selected other models and buy one-time credit packs without a subscription.
Does an annual plan grant all of its credits at once?
No. An annual plan is paid upfront for the year, but its subscription credit allowance refreshes monthly during the annual term. Unused subscription credits reset at each monthly refresh rather than accumulating for the year.
Do unused credits roll over or get refunded?
Paid daily bonus credits expire at the end of each 24-hour window and do not roll over. Unused subscription-plan credits reset at the monthly entitlement boundary. Purchased credit-pack credits do not expire.
How do one-time credit packs work?
Credit-pack credits do not expire. Paid accounts always use credits in this order: daily bonus first, monthly plan credits second, and purchased credit-pack credits last. Free accounts have no daily bonus.
Am I charged when a generation fails?
Snapway checks your balance before a paid operation and settles credits after a successful model call. A call that fails without producing a result is not charged for that generation. Multi-step workflows are charged step by step, so credits already used by successfully completed steps are not reversed if a later step fails or is cancelled.
Which AI models are available?
All GPT Image 2 and 2.5 models are available on Free and paid plans. Paid GPT image generation is unlimited at 0 credits/image and receives priority queueing and priority processing. Other models marked Paid require Starter or higher; use the model selector to confirm availability.
Do users in mainland China need a VPN to access Snapway?
No. Users in mainland China can access Snapway directly without a VPN. Actual connectivity may vary by region, network provider, and local network conditions; if you have trouble connecting, try another network or contact support.
Can I use generated content commercially?
Paid plans generally permit commercial use of generated output, subject to the Terms, applicable law, and any model-specific restrictions shown with the selected model. AI output may not be copyrightable or exclusive, and you are responsible for reviewing it before publication.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Paid users receive a fresh 100-credit daily pool every 24 hours. If both the daily and monthly plan pools are exhausted, usage continues from any purchased credit-pack balance. You can also upgrade for a larger monthly allowance.
Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?
Yes. Manage an existing paid subscription through Billing Settings and the Stripe billing portal. If you cancel a monthly plan, it remains active through the end of the current monthly billing period and will not renew the next month. If you cancel an annual plan, it remains active through the end of the current annual term and will not renew for the following year. Plan changes take effect as shown in the Stripe confirmation screen.
Are subscription payments refundable?
No. Subscription payments and unused subscription credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by applicable law. We may correct duplicate charges or verified service errors as described in the Terms. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current monthly or annual term.
Can I collaborate with my team?
Yes. Project owners can invite people by email or link with view or edit access. Collaborators can use comments and real-time presence, including shared canvas cursors. Credits are currently charged to the account that performs the AI operation; they are not drawn from a project-wide shared pool.
Are my prompts and uploads used to train AI models?
Snapway does not use private prompts or uploads to train a general-purpose foundation model operated by Snapway. Features that use third-party AI providers send them the inputs needed to perform the request, subject to their terms and retention practices. Review the Privacy Policy and avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive content.
What useful keyboard shortcuts does Snapway support?
When you are not typing in a field, Canvas supports these creation-focused shortcuts: V selects the Move tool, H the Hand tool, T Text, C Comments (when comments are visible), A Frame, and R/O/L/P/S/D select Rectangle, Circle, Line, Polygon, Star, and Draw. Press F to focus the selected item, / to start cursor chat at the pointer, Cmd/Ctrl+F to open project assets, Cmd/Ctrl+. to hide or show Canvas controls, Shift+1 to fit all content, and Shift+2 to fit the selection. Use [ or ] to move selected items one layer backward or forward; add Cmd/Ctrl to send them to the back or front. Cmd/Ctrl+Enter submits a chat or generation prompt. In the video editor, Space plays or pauses; J/K/L play backward, stop, or play forward; I/O set in and out points; S splits at the playhead; \ fits the timeline; comma/period nudges selected clips by one frame (add Shift for ten); and Cmd/Ctrl+E opens Export.
